Open shrub with strongly scented red/pink/white flowers through winter to spring. Red fruit. "Alseuosmia" means "perfumed grove" and the scent can be luscious at dawn or dusk when in flower.
Requires well-drained, moist soil with shelter from wind and frost. It grows naturally under shrubs and trees, so requires some shade.
